Can a mod lock, delete, and maybe block the use of the name that is in this title. Then ban the OP for suggesting this?
Derek Fisher has never been a PG in his career. Sure he's listed as one but he has never demonstrated any PG capabilities. He is BJ Armstrong. A small Shooting Guard. He can't teach our PGs anything about being a PG.
Nolan Smith = Make or Break year. I don't see him with the team after this year. But, he could always surprise us.
Ronnie Price is in that class of point guards that are just good enough to stay in the league, but are very, very bad.
Olshey announced today that he signed Stotts' teenage son Ralph as assistant coach because "Terry likes to play HORSE with him in the summer." Also said he is negotiating with Bert Kolde's dog Bowser because "Bowser jumps high for Bert, and as Chief Kissass, it's my job to hire everyone a kissass like Ronnie Price."
News today. We have a new GM, Batman, who has his own philosophy about how to build a team. Batman fired Robin and signed a mini-me of Austin Powers because, "It feeds my ego to have a miniature of myself, a protege shadowing me around. I plan to hire each player his own mini-me."
I don't see the point in adding Fisher, maybe he adds a couple wins this year but is that really our end goal? We are so far away from contending; Fisher is not an intermediate step towards building anything. I'd rather stick with younger players who may have more upside even if it's very unlikely they amount to much of anything.
it really is sad having to watch Price and Smith when he was playin, why not just cut someone and add karl?
