1. Steve Francis-I know, I know, people love to hate this guy now, but think of the years he had with Houston. He was one of the best combo guards in the League back then. He is a career 19 ppg, 6 apg, and 6 rpg guy. He is a very explosive player, with good rebounding skills too. I think you have to put him at #1.2. Mike Bibby-Mike is one of the best offensive point guards out there. He is a great shooter, and a very quick player. He is also a decent playmaker and passer. He is a liability on defense, but I'd still put him here.3. Keith Van Horn-I know, you may associate Keith as that scrub that just hangs out by the 3 point line as of now, but think back to his days with the Nets. He had 3 19+ ppg years. He was a guy who could stretch out the defense, shoot, and score points. He is a lifetime 16 and 7 guy. I think you have to put him 3rd.4. Marcus Camby-He is probably the best defensive Center in the League right now. He has also improved his scoring, and added a short little jumper. The problem is though, that he is too injury prone. The most games he has played in a season over his 10 year career was 72. Not exactly that good. But still, I have to put him up here. He has been one of the best defensive Centers, and Centers over the past few years, and although he doesnt play many games, he deserves to be up here.5. Emeka Okafor-He had a great rookie year, winning the ROY award. He is already a good defensive Power Forward/Center. He is a great rebounder and shotblocker, and he did score 15 ppg in his rookie year, so he does have a pretty good post game. He isnt very talented, but I know he can become a good player down the road.6. Marvin Williams-I think Williams was a great pick. He is very talented, an athletic player who has shooting touch, and a good rebounder. He has all the tools to become a great player in the League, and I believe thats what he can become. I think 9 ppg was a good total for him last year considering he was only 19 years old last season.7. Tyson Chandler-He is a very, very poor offensive player, but you have to love the guy for his efforts on the defensive end. He excels at shotblocking and rebounding, and he is one of the best defensive bigs in the League. He hasnt shown us anything offensively, but he is still a very valuable player to have because of his efforts on the other end.8. Stromile Swift-This kid has been very dissapointing. He has all the talents. he is a talented player and very athletic, but he hasnt been able to establish a post game at all, and he just uses his athleticism to score points. The Rockets took a gamble on him, and he still didnt work out, so he traded him back to the Grizzlies. The most ppg he ever averaged was 12. I think that is very dissapointing for a kid with his talent. He is a terrible rebounder too, only averaging 5 for his career.9. Darko Milicic-He was benched by Detroit, and never got a chance to show us anything, but he did break out when he got traded to the Magic. He is obviously a gifted kid, or else he wouldn't have been drafted 2nd overall. He has shooting range, and he excels on his shotblocking. He averaged near 8 ppg for the Magic, and he should improve even more from that total next season.10. Jay Williams-He had a great rookie year, averaging 10 and 5. He is a smart pg, and a good playmaker, but unfortunately, he has only been able to play 1 season because of his motorcycle crash. Although he is making a comeback, that crash ruined his career so far, so I have no choice but to put him last.If you disagree with me on anything, feel free to create your own lists :happy0144:
Keith Van Horn averaged 19+ ppg for 3 straight years for the Nets. He's right where he should be. He is a lifetime 16 ppg scorer, and that is only because of the past 2 seasons.
I think Tyson Chandler and maybe Stromile Swift should be ahead of Marvin Williams, since this is a career ranking, not a potential ranking. Marvin hasn't done as much yet.
good idea CB4. Umm.....I would put Mike Bibby above Steve Francis. Steve has had a poor last couple of seasons. He has shown no desire to play the game at all to me. Mike has been very consistent over his career and has shown that he can be the leader of the team. I put him at #1.
You idiot butt.(rofl)KVH only averaged that because of Jason Kidd. It's the Kidd effect(or Nash effect). The other years, he had ppl dishing to him too. His points are from good PGs giving him great looks.
Camby is like top 5 center in the leagueVanHorn isnt at least a top 15 in anything although he was the 5th best scorer in the league in 1998-99.
This is over their careers. Van Horn was a 20 ppg in the early part of his career, and Camby is an injury-prone player that hasnt really amounted to anything.
DUDE I JUST TOLD YOU. JASON KIDD GOT HIM 15 OF THOSE 20 AT LEAST. When you have a great PG dishing you the open shots, how the hell do you not get 20ppg. Did you think Q was a 15 PPG or w/e person, or Eddie House was a 10 PPG? No. And they aren't, just like KVH
Dude, he played with Kidd in his last season in New Jersey. Let me show you his ppg totals in the seasons Kidd WASN'T with the Nets:98-19.7 ppg99-21.8 ppg00-19.2 ppg01-17 ppgNow in the lone season where he and Kidd played together he scored 14.8 ppg. Get your facts straight dude.

For a guy that is known to be only a offensive player only having 4 seasons in that regard is not very good.Yes Camby has been hurt more then Van Horn, there is no doubt about that. But it isn't like Van Horn is a stable of health, as he has only played in ~80% of games he could have played in. Regardless Van Horn is a defensive liablity and anything but a leader. Camby is an outstanding defender and a good leader. Plus Camby is getting better, you can't say the same for KVH. Camby's range is almost as good as Van Horn's at this point in their careers. Also Camby was a big reason the Knicks made the finals, Van Horn was an after thought this past year. When it matters Camby has helped his teams more Van Horn has helped his teams. As for the rest of the list. Marvin Williams? What has he done so far? Almost nothing.
I'd put Chandler and Okafor above Keith, because of potential. I just don't think Keith was a player that can help your team. No wonder he doesn't have any rings.
I would put Camby ahead of Van Horn. When Camby isn't hurt he is a great center. He does everything you ask of a Center. He gets you 10-15 points, 10-13 rebounds, and alters a few shots.

Bibby is nice and consistanyi'd say cambey @ number 2 if he could stay injury free - but he doesn't so i think he aboout right.
