PGA Championship winner Rory McIlroy will miss the PGA Grand Slam of Golf in Bermuda in October because of a scheduling conflict, organizers said Tuesday. McIlroy, who won the PGA Championship earlier this month, already had committed to the European Tour's BMW Masters in China on Oct. 25-28, the PGA of America said in a statement.
He just won last weekend's Deutsche bank championship after being well behind. If he misses this tournament the other golfers should take advantage, b/c with McIlory in it, he's tough to beat.
