Note: This is actually a serious discussion about Miami demographics versus other areas, that's why it is a new thread.

Miami is much more mixed than any other place in the world, and I think this is a very good thing. Your experiences on the West Coast are most likely completely different. ~40% of people in Cuba, Colombia, Haiti, Dominican Republic, and Brazil are Sub-Saharan African to a significant degree. These regions along with Jamaica, Nicaragua, and Venezuela are the most common countries of origin here in Miami.

Aside from Univision you don't normally see many Mexican-Americans here and 80% of Hispaniola is black. In contrast there seems to be only 200,000 Sub-saharan black people in Mexico.

I can see why some of you are confused. But you're not well-informed.

The School that I went to was about 97% Hispanic by the way, so that's why I knew immediately that the demographics of Hispanics are very mixed. Hispanic people in Miami at least, are very diverse. More so than certain "experts" here claimed.

Not sure what's stranger, trying to convince the site that Hispanic dudes from Miami have huge hogs, or using demographic statistics from Brazil and Mexico to prove it.

That's not what the thread is about, this is a new discussion about demographics and how we're not like Mexico, since people think Hispanics are all the same.

We stole Chris Bosh from you so I guess we're even. His talents were being wasted in Toronto anyway. The point is one genius here compared the percentages of blacks in Latin America to Asia. And others seemed to concur which is amusing.

    Final warning, Julius.

Warning to posters in this thread beyond this point:

This is a serious thread. Do not try and make light of Huevon's message.

    -- Miami Hispanics have massive packages on account of their black heritage;
    -- They aren't Mexicans

Posts not strictly adhering to these points will be deleted and the posters summarily bandwagoned. I mean banned.

Julius honestly stop bitching, and this is a different thread about the impression people have of Miami. Some people here wanted stats, I provided them.

There reason this is here is because you don't run this place, I'll post what I want.

Well it's the principle of the thing really, this julius guy acts homophobic too so it is strange.

Mexico does not represent all of Latin America, this is something I wanted to comment about as a Hispanic. This is also a semi-serious point I was making unrelated to the previous thread.

Here is also a fact. 100% of the people on this planet have African ancestry.

Hey Huevon, you ever been to Cuba, Venezuela or Columbia? My dad was born in Cuba, lived there until he was 12 then his family moved to Venezuela. I've been to Venezuela and Columbia many times and finally got to fly to Cuba for a couple of days when I was vacationing in Cancun a few years back.

I would love to go to Colombia one day, not sure about those two other countries though. They're a little unstable politically.

It is great you have that in your background.

wait, so making fun of you in a way that you're not smart enough to grasp means I'm homophobic?

    That's rich.

Why is it "obsessed" to have an intelligent discussion? Your posts seem weird to me, and not facetious.

Why are you so concerned that I am talking about demographic data?

You're not being smart, you're legitimately whining. You sure do give that homophobic vibe.
