This is a guy who gains his advantage on his athleticism. The margins are so close in the NBA, he's likely lost that advantage.

Stick a fork in him. Another wasted draft pick. Another wasted draft year.

If several things go right, we should be in position to make the playoffs. Already, things are not going right.

I really didn't expect a thing from the guy, so while it sucks that he is injured yet again, it's really not that big of a loss. Anything he would have given the Blazers would have been a plus, but at best, he was going to be the 8th or 9th man.

Ah ... hmmm ... well, and here I thought maybe the voodoo curse had been lifted. Oh well, tough break. I hope he gets well and stops breaking himself, that sucks.

Nope. It never does. I'm almost numb to it by now. It's actually quite surreal to be a Blazer fan . . .

It's a major loss because we were already as thin as Barton at guard, due to Olshey, who thinks like a Clipper, signing Ronnie Price just because he's Lilliard's friend.

Who is the MORON who gave away Diebler for nothing?????

That's too bad. I feel sorry for him. I was hoping he would surprise us all, but that was a long shot.

So that leaves Wes and Barton, (along with others that can fill in -Pavlovic, Smith and Batum) Not sure I would go after a vet at this point. (i.e a Raja Bell type) I am excited to see what Barton can do. I anticipate some ups and downs. I assume he will be better in March then he is in Nov/Dec

This opens up time for Barton. But this season is about two things: Development of the youngsters and the Cody Zeller draft.

    Circa 2005-2006 season.

The #1 pick is projected to be a tall white american center? That can't be good.

Has Shabazz made it into UCLA yet?

Look at the happy news. Good thing Roy, the SG we cut because he kept getting injured, is playing great for the Wolves while Elliot, our new SG, keeps getting injured.

(Just thought I'd spell out my previous post for ya.)

He was going to be our back up shooting guard and arguably still had more potential than the likes of Smith, Barton, Babbitt, Claver and Freeland.

Lets just bring back Chris Johnson (lower left corner of pic) for the hell of it at this point. It doesn't look like his spot is secure within the hornets.
