We need to trade for a SG. Jon Diebler or Travis Diener.

Sigh. On the plus side, SG is probably our most stacked position. Batum plays best there, Wesley, Barton and Nolan's best position is probably there as well.

    Tank the season.
    Draft Shabazz.
    Lillard/Shabazz/Batum/Aldridge/Leonard
    Put it on the board--Hushmazilly...championship!

But seriously: I still wish we could've hung on to Koponen (who, at 6'5", could've paired up with Lillard to allow Damian to be more of a scorer), especially given how he's currently playing.

Stop with all the who's next ans whoa is me crap, people. KP drafted high risk, high reward guys. Only one of those players, LaMarcus Aldridge, has been a high reward. If you look back to any draft KP was involved in, you will see that this is a pretty easy fix

    2006

Aldridge - Hip surgery on left hip at UT
Roy - Knee injuries in both high school and college
    Rodriguez - Unproven Euro
    Freeland - More unproven Euro

    2007

Oden - Wrist injury in college. Reports some medical staffs said his knees looked like an old man before the draft
    Fernandez - Unproven Euro
Koponen - More unproven Euro (Not a Euro, I know)

    2008
Bayless - No injuries, but slid in the draft and KP took a gamble on him
Batum - Injury scare with heart issue before the draft. Unproven Euro

    2009

Claver - Unproven Euro and injuries before the draft

    2010

Babbitt - No injuries. But anything but high reward guy
Williams - Injured knee before the draft in a workout

So to me, it seems the plan of high risk, high reward was more bad than good. Stop doing that, and the injuries will likely go down

It's a bummer for Elliott and we fans who really wanted to see what he could do. But it is what it is and we POR fans unfortunately continue to have to deal with this injury crap, seemingly much more so then other teams. It appears a very good thing we drafted Barton and that he may be pretty good for a 2nd rd pick as he may see considerable playing time. This also means there could be more time for Batum at SG especially if a guy like Claver can at least show he is adequate for 10-15 minutes per game.

Once again, I forgot about Sasha Pavlovic. So, basically half our roster could play SG.

No reason to spell it out because the "playing great for the Wolves" comment is so absurd at this point it was not worth reiterating. I hope Brandon does come back and plays great. And I have never written him off. But do I have to spell it out for you? He has not played great because training camp is still weeks away.

But I do wish him well.

I should have clarified better. I know it's in Europe, but I consider the Finns, Swedes and the Norse people different for whatever reason

So if he can't secure a spot on the Hornets (a team that is lacking for big men) what's the use of us having him? CJ is a waste of roster space and I'm not sure why anyone is high on him.

    Edit:

After looking further, he isn't even on the roster:

I know it's in Europe. Alaska and Hawaii are in the US, but I still consider them different as well. It's just the way I think, not what I know to be true

I consulted my ouiji board, and it turns out the only way to lift this curse is a ritual burning of the entire Blazers training staff. I'll bring the marshmallows.

So much for Elliot Williams NBA trading card. It looks like its not worth anything even if it was in mint condition and in a plastic sleeve.

Same. I am very disappointed. I swear they are playing on concrete floors at the PF.

It's a curse. The curse requires an offering. Hey, I don't argue with the ouiji.
