I don't want to be a cider drinker, I want to be able to drink beer with my buddies instead of always having to order hard liquor. I will try it though and tell you what I think

I might select Seriously Bad Elf or Sick Duck.

Mac N' Jack for me! Everytime I'm home that is one of the first things I really want. My last weekend as a student in Pullman one of the local bars was trying to kill their kegs before christmas break and offered pitchers of the stuff for $3. That was a good night!

    Interesting choices all around.

I'd go with Abita Amber or Lazy Magnolia's Southern Pecan ... that's the bread'n'butter. No need to get too obscure with it.

Never heard of Alaskan or Mac N' Jack. I'll definitely have to try those next time I'm up in the northwest.

I remember it from a beer fest years back and it was my favorite of the fest. Haven't ever found it anywhere though.

Celebration Ale is one of my favorites. Stone IPA, Torpedo, Ranger all good. I normally don't go for anything with spices but I just tried Elysian Great Pumpkin Imperial IPA and it was pretty damn good.

Clever choice; after drinking it, you'll want to kill yourself anyway.

Pliny is great... better out of the tap (of course, I've only found it in LA visiting friends... Father's Office, with an Office burger and chiccarones) but still great out of the bottle.
