Obviously we've seen some pretty encouraging things from Mariota, DAT, and I really like Marshall.... but man this team is playing with its head up its ass.

    Late hits.

    Interceptions.

Fielding punts that have no business being fielded.

    Block in the backs.

I haven't seen this many mental errors from the Ducks since Chip took over. Just very very sloppy football.

I guess it's just the inexperience of the team showing through, but this team better mature-up real fast or some of the better PAC12 teams will eat them alive.

I don't think they took the game all that seriously.

Oregon better focus or AZ could sneak in to Autzen and cause problems....

I still don't like our secondary play...... and spotting another team damn near a 100 yards in penalties is just dumb!!!

The ducks had two turnovers, nine penalties and a blocked field goal in the first half.
They are not done tuning out their kinks.

Agreed, but it's still a bit troubling. Slouching against inferior competition hasn't been the Chip Kelly way... I'll be looking for more discipline and a stronger second half this weekend -- we will need both moving into PAC-12 play.
