You know the roster is bad when you're debating between Morrison or Pavlovic.

Looks like Morrison has gone from non roster training camp invitee to official member of the Portland Trail Blazers.

Chris Broussard ‏@Chris_Broussard Adam Morrison agrees to one- year minimum salary deal with Portland, according to his agent.

slime vs shit = who cares? Comparing these guys is debating shades of meh

both can shoot, but neither can create space for their shot and absolutely suck on D. Luke is 2" taller though and according to the run-jump stats posted at their respective pre-drafts, vastly more athletic. Neither has done anything at the pro level, though AM has had a lot more opportunities

    Go Ducks!

Thanks. I didn't know if that'd be too esoteric...but then I remember who comes to this place.

I heard that Luke Jackson has gained 15 pounds of solid muscle and Olshey is offering him a 2-year contract.

Didn't anyone else think that Morrison looked pretty good in the summer league? I was pretty sure the Clippers were going to pick him up.

Really, Morrison could be a decent player if given the same role he was given at Gonzaga. Unfortunately, that will probably never happen again, at least on the NBA level, after Larry Brown crushed the kid and then saw him shipped off to back-up the best player in the NBA.

At the end of the day though, he has a natural scoring ability, and it wasn't just overblown because of his race, as some people will tell you. Hell, I remember him dropping 43 on the Spartans, with two future NBA players guarding him in Shannon Brown and Mo Ager. MSU couldn't stop the guy.

Worst case scenario, he makes the roster, never gets in the game, and is let go in the off-season. Is that really such a bad risk to be taking for a team that's unlikely to make the playoffs?
