A nice series of graphs and charts regarding our taxes. Quite informative. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/your-taxes-work-all-you-need-know-about-who-pays-what-taxes-us
Your source is a blog site run by a convicted insider trader who posts his drivel under a fictional name. The misleading charts are from the people who brought us the Iraq war and hope to bring us the Iran war. before you geniuses say it, take a look at when this was made. It's not "Blaming Bush" in 2012, it's from 2006.
because I'm responding to Maris' point, so that people don't turn this into a "you're just blaming Bush" ranti. Bravo for being able to figure that one out.
The standard of living for the average American peaked around 1963, as did our favorable image in the eyes of the rest of the world. The top tax rate then was 91%.
Congratulations on having absolutely no grasp on the difference between a stated top, marginal tax rate and the resulting, effective tax burden. Bravo.
unfortunately this propaganda is skewed and manipulated, thus, it is garbage but at least they dumbed it down with pretty pictures for all the hillbillies again! and the heritage foundation is a fucking evil military propaganda death machine, to support them is to support war profiteers
