With L-10 representing radical Left and R-10 representing radical Right, where in the continuum might you place yourself?

Economically libertarian, socially liberal. I put R-4, but I don't really know how to rank myself on that spectrum.

I don't see the political spectrum as left-to-right and liberal-to-conservative.

I see it as left-to-right and authoritarian-to-anarchy. In this scheme:

I think "liberals" are pretty far to the left. "Conservatives" are center/center-right. I am pretty far to the right.

I don't think the self-selection bit applies here.

    That's not really true Denny.

When polled on import issues the majority of Americans fall right in the center. Holding some beliefs that are liberal and some that are conservative.

When compared on a world view of what it means to be liberal and conservative the vast majority of Americans would be considered conservative.

And that has to do with the left/right spectrum as I defined it how?

I'm not declaring myself moderate. I'm declaring myself anti-central authority.

A moderate might actually want ObamaCare.

I had a hard time with the poll. A few things I am decidedly left and others right and other in the middle. Also, depending on the situation, sometimes I will go the other way for the sake of change.
