Re: Who You Voting For In '08? I'm voting for Barack Obama for real...I advise you guys do toojust read this book if you're into politicsDreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritanceby Barack Obama Barack Obama, a black man raised by his white mother and grandparents, decided to journey to Kenya to learn more about his African father after receiving news of his death. This memoir is not about his father's life, but about Obama's, and he brings that home with an intimate tone rather than that of his public speeches. (His 2004 Democratic Convention keynote address is included at the end.) Throughout the book, the U.S. Senator looks at race from the point of view of someone who has seen and been part of a variety of cultures, and he explains how his perspective shaped his views. The book, written in 1995, before his election to the Illinois Senate, gives listeners a chance to learn more about a young senator who has recently made news by speaking out on the Patriot Act and President Bush's next Supreme Court nomination.

Re: Who You Voting For In '08? Whoever has the best plans and ideas. That's 2 years away, I'll be 18 by then so we'll see.
Re: Who You Voting For In '08? Im not going to vote cause first of all I dont got an America passport (I got greencard) I dont want to become an America citizen ways cause Im moving when I turn 18 to Germany which I'm really happy. But I dont care about the voting at all, I been here 7-8years in America and I found out one thing that democrats are the best to run/lead America. Bill Cliton was a democrat currect me if im wrong, And he was the best pres. that you guys have Every loved him, Every love America when Cliton was in office. I wanted Kerry to win cause he would have "turned" America around and made it good, but stupid people voted for Bush and look what Bush is doing to you now, for that you deserve it. I think the best thing for America is but a democrat in office if you want to have a future.
Re: Who You Voting For In '08? Does Obama even have any plans on running? Like SunnyD said, it would help to know who is running.

Although I would like Bush to get out of the Oval Office, It's tough to say that Kerry would have been better. These days, to win over votes, presidents have to be on MTV! Tell me that's not pathetic. There are more votes on American Idol than for the next president. Help us God!
Re: Who You Voting For In '08? I'll be a few months too young to vote that year, which sucks... I wanted to vote for John McCain. He's a great senator and a Diamondbacks fan, but after saying he wanted Iran to be thrown out of the World Cup I was pretty pissed. And lately he's been sounding like Bush... I'd probably want any Democrat to win unless it's Clinton. I don't know why you would hate to have women as the president though Airblaze(talking about what you said on Mixx forum).

I don't know about Iran being thrown out of the World Cup, but most American politicians, whether you all like it or not, think that we should have gone to Iran instead of Iraq. That's probably why he said it, even if it's a bit silly. I don't think McCain likes Bush much at all. He is loyal to the party, but when he was on the Daily Show he practically said he disagrees with what Bush did... he just couldn't say it because of the aforementioned loyalty to the party. I think he'd be much better, and I'll probably vote for him.(I didn't vote last time, because I didn't register on time and didn't care that much anyway.)
Re: Who You Voting For In '08? If he runs, probably John McCain. We need a real man and leader in the big chair.
Re: Who You Voting For In '08? I want Rudy Guilliani to win. I'm not really feeling the other canidates except maybe Obama. If Hilary Clinton or Al Gore become president Ill probably move out of the country
Re: Who You Voting For In '08? Rudy Guilliani would be a good choice! He really turned NY around! He did an amazing job in NY! This guy would do a great job as president i bet
