Why play pickup games in a long sleeve cotton shirt? Makes it look like you are working harder?

Most body builders when they do their warmup (cardio on a treadmill or bike) they wear long sleeves or a hoodie. This is done to warm up.
Why do you have an issue with such a trivial thing? I predict a lot of unnecessary complaining from you this season.

Meh. Smith, and Babbit know they are on their way out.

Clyde was a HORRIBLE practice player and never really solved his weaknesses (horrible Defense, No Left hand, sometimesy jumper) but do we complain about his work ethic?

I know about warming up. I'm a competitive runner. But, it looks like Leonard is playing at least half speed with Aldridge in a completely soaked long sleeve shirt. That seems odd to me in a temperature controlled gym.

People have been saying this for so many years. It's only partially true. Clyde was lazy on a lot of levels. But there are a lot of people who don't think Clyde was spending his free time working on his game.

As a child, I used to see Clyde at the MAC Club working out and working on his shot and moves fairly frequently. I didn't get to go to the MAC Club a ton, but when I was there, he was almost always there. Don't get me wrong - he was no gym rat. But he was working on his game, or at least playing ball, more than I think a lot of people realize.

No offense, but don't you think a child memory is going to be a little skewed.

None taken. Fair enough. I'm not saying Clyde was a gym rat like Wes. But I've been around enough NBA players to know he worked harder than a lot of Blazers who supposedly had good work ethics. People played it like Clyde went to practice and played in games and that's it. And it's incorrect. Others who know (and are known members of the org and related peripherals) have stated as much in the past.

Batum can't show up early because he's a gold prospector, apparently.

(The countdown to this becoming someone's avatar has started.)

Not sure if this was sarcasm but Batum has been in town since Sept 18th.
