God forbid workers are forced to give 100%, rather than whatever BS standards are. Then protected forever by the union, all the while costing consumers more money because most are overpaid. Reagan docked unions $2.00 an hour when he was president, but neither Bush did, and I doubt Romney would either. My kids school just got rid of an outstanding teacher due to cutbacks and kept some real shitty ones all because of tenure. So insane
Teachers at most public schools get paid based on their degree and number of years teaching, that's about it. Public schools and unions are pretty incompetent, I don't think I could ever join one.
the teamsters i sometimes am forced to use are a complete joke, stand around and do nothing for twice the money of my other guys, usually in track suits/ gold chains but i guess dont hate the player, hate the game
Back in the day, when he was President, Safeway workers wages were cut $2.00 an hour. Our neighbor worked in the warehouse at the time.
anyone that wants to make it their crusade to crucify teachers has their fiscal priorities out of order
From what I remember, his administration was very anti labor. The union was on strike, and Reagan's administration forced them to take a pay cut. This is 30 year old memory talking here, but regardless of the circumstance, I am sure of the number
A lot of teachers are really underpaid. Some teachers are severely overpaid though. It should be based on merit, not tenure
I've never heard of a President getting in the business of a labor groups bargaining agreements. But interesting.
I don't have a problem with private unions, nor do I want to protect people from their bad decisions. Public teachers blow it's that simple.
Where do you work? I just wondering because I'm also a teamster but I don't really know who all they represent. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
