In Florida, Obama is now up 4% with seniors despite being down 13% last month. A 17% swing in one month! Seems like Romney's gaffe's were indeed detrimental. Especially with those not paying income tax, whose vote certainly matters.
Deflecting the reality of that huge swing in the polls? Care to admit that gaffe hurt the Romney campaign?
Not at all. I'll ask again: Do you think a +9 percentage point advantage in Florida for Democrats is an accurate and representative sample?
Its all we have to go off right now. The HUGE swing in polls is not good for the Romney campaign. I contribute it solely to the major gaffe he made a couple weeks ago. As much as the Repub's around here want to shrug it off as nothing. Way to alienate an important voting bloc Mr. Romney.
Ah, I get it. It's easier for you to just say, "I don't want to think for myself, so I'll just swallow whatever I'm fed." Vaya con Dios.
Golly, you're so smart. You know, the way you just know the GOP is racist, just through anecdotal evidence. Brilliant.
I don't think anyone can say the statements about 47% didn't hurt Romney. The few article I read almost always mentions Romney's problem with many voters is voters feel Romney can not relate with their personal situation. And for most of them who are good people trying to dig themselves out of a very tough situation, they are probably right. I tell you though, if people think Romney will be better for the economy, they might not care if their president can relate with them.
Fascinating. Since that CBS poll came out, PPP(D) has Obama+4, WaPost has Obama + 4, FLA Times-Union has Obama +3. In fact, CBS at +9 is more than 2x the spread of all the polls since 9/12 (but 2). http://jacksonville.com/news/florid...ght-lead-over-mitt-romney-times-union-florida Posted: September 25, 2012 - 5:55pm | Updated: September 26, 2012 - 5:15am President Obama holds slight lead over Mitt Romney in Times-Union Florida poll Overwhelming majorities with black and Hispanic voters have helped President Barack Obama to a slim lead in the Times-Union’s Insider Advantage/Majority Opinion Research Florida Presidential Poll released Tuesday. Among likely voters, 49 percent favor Obama for November’s election and 46 percent like Mitt Romney.
I reference polls I think are valid. I know it's hard for you to wrap your head around the concept, but it's called thinking for onesself.
Because I clearly know more than you. Gosh! I hate trying to reason with non-intellectuals. [/Blazerboy30]
