I know your a celtics fan but seriously, Phil won in a much much much more competitive era. Since they have an equal amount of championship i'm taking the one who won in more diffucult circumstances.

For his time, and going by titles, he is the best coach ever.If you want to hold the era he coached in against him, what are you going to say? Bob Cousy wasn't a good player because of the era? I mean watch those videos, their skill level really sucked compared to todays players. Most of them wouldn't even be in the league today. But that's not their fault, the game has been revolutionized since their days in the league. But for Red's time - best coach ever. For Cousy's time - one of the best PG's ever. Put Cooz in the league today with his skill-set people would laugh at his goofyness. So I say that your statement was not correct.

How the hell do you not win? "Give the ball to Micheal." Good job, coach. "Give the ball to AHHHHHHH OMG RAPE!!!!" Good job again.

I give it to Phil Jackson. Red Auerbach at 2, Pat Riley at 3, and Jerry Sloan at 4, only because he never won.

Phil is the greatest coach ever and he will never be surpassed. Ever. Seriously, i hope we win the championship within 2 years so phil can stick it up to red who thinks he's overrated. Actually, red is the one overrated not phil. WHen someone takes an nbdl team to the west he deserves some major props
