Ducks vs Cougs 9/29 Game Thread

I just don't think the offense runs very smoothly under Mariota right now. Obviously he needs more experience, but it also seems to be the play calling.

 

He often putzes up running plays.

 

It's his decision making. Sometimes he runs when he needs to throw it away. Sometimes he throws when he should tuck and run. Hopefully it will come with some more experience.

 

Is that 4 sacks?

Another bad call- this time against WSU.

 

I really don't like this game. We had good momentum and it seems like we've lost it.

 

Bad reffing and poor execution by Mariota.

 

I'm shocked they didn't find some reason to call pass interference on that.

 

We need a turnover.

 

See, just keep throwing it and throwing it and eventually you get rewarded. Good play by WSU.

 

We are the #2 team in the nation and we look like crap.

 

We've BEEN looking like crap, but the defense had been carrying us.

 

I've got to say, every time I see a guy with that much hair hanging out, I'd be pulling on that shit every time I got a chance.

 

I never thought I'd say that Chip's offense is becoming predictable.

 

See? Just horrible execution.

This reminds me a bit of the Niners/Vikings game last week. Everyone thought it was gonna be a blowout for the Niners, but nobody told the Vikes that they were supposed to lose. Obviously we are still leading, and SF never did in that game, but we are playing like complete shit.

 

What happened to our offense though? The play calling is very vanilla.
