It can't be just not wanting to play NT as Oregon lets kids go out for the position they choose to. He projects everywhere along their D-Line but the Drop End DE spot. STOMP
All I'm saying Bill is it was quoted that Vanderdoes didn't want to play NG here and U$C offered him a DT position.....
From what I remember he was a little warry of NT, and really wanted to play some DE. In addition Horton supposedly denied him a chance to try out for baseball which was the biggest thing supposedly. Truth is we really don't know. Hopefully this heavy push from SC for M. Adams gives him some second thoughts on USC's spin for commit now or lose your spot.
what came out in his quotes after committing was that he'd rather play in a 4-3 then a 3-4... which is probably why he said he favored LSU over Oregon too. In Oregon's 3-4 the Lineman tend to muck up the line of scrimmage occupying multiple blockers allowing the LBs to make the tackles. STOMP
So I looked into the 2014 recruits, and so far, we have like, no offers out there. We're just taking our time right?
Maybe Chip is going to be evil, beat USC by 35 on their turf then take all Lamo's kids the next week!
Max Redfield might visit oregon this weekend for an official, but not confirmed 100%. Long shot either way, would probably take more of a coaching implosion by USC along with a visit and even then who knows if we'll have the spots left. I doubt USC loses to Utah with their bye week, but it is possible.
Last USC played on Thursday, highly ranked, in Beaver town. Sanchise got trumped. Same will happen to Barkley
among others in attendance on OVs last night was Bay Area LB Victor Egu STOMP
Oregon also had Jr College Outside LB/Drop DE Sione Sina up from the Bay Area for last nights fun. College of San Mateo is where Rahsaan Vaughn came out of couldn't find a video on him, but he's putting together a pretty good list of potential colleges which is as good an indicator of talent as most anything STOMP
Not much news. Quick still an ohio state lean, Ross wasn't blown away and we are probably out with him, I suspect Williams will be our 2nd WR taken. Seems like we have a strong shot at EGU, I'd still give us almost no shot at Mitchell at LB despite the positive news of still being in it. No idea of where or when the next commit might be, some think 0 star Etaule if he gets the scores he needs. But who knows if that will happen and he is finally getting interest from other programs. Anyone hear anything interesting?
in a rivals article from today, an East Coast DE stated again he'll be taking OVs out West to Oregon and USC... is that interesting? STOMP
Yes. Just imagine if Rob's mom likes Oregon... Chaos in recruiting world? Max Browne getting nightmares? I think so~
