Nope! Don't think so at least. I've had plenty of lobsters though, just not my steeze. I find dungeness and king crab so much better.
where to go for lobster in PDX then? I find even the "poor man's lobster" (monkfish) done better in most preparations.
Fresh lobster isn't even comparable to the stuff that Red Lobster has or the tails you can buy in a supermarket. Not. Even. Close.
Some say that its better than lobster. I agree, but you get more bang for your buck with lobster. If you like Crawfish, go to Po Shines over on Denver by the Dancin' Bare. They have a crawfish boil once a month. Bomb diggity.
I had bomb ass crawfish in NOLA. We used to get them in Vernonia in the Nehelem River and cook them at home. good shit.
i've had a bunch of fresh lobster at high end restaurants. used to get comped everything in vegas back in the day and we'd always order the entire menu of fresh shit. just don't find it that flavorful compared with other seafoods and its much more expensive so I stay away from it.
So ironic that every day as a driver on my first route I pass by PapaG's vegan deli. Never deliver there though, they must go through Fedex.
