I wonder how the D's are going to spin this (another thing I hate about debates, spins)

The spin is Obama was out raising money while Romney was practicing his closing speech.

Like I said in the RNC thread. Romney is going to have an easy time at the debates because Obama has to spend his time defending himself for his abysmal performance.

Romney did well. Don't know if he shook off the image of being for the rich and big corporations, but he didn't come across like the big dick the democrats are making him out to be. Obama was Obama . . . wasn't wowed by him, but he comes across confident and competent.

I actually feel a little better about the candidates we have this year . . . little better.

MSNBC having difficulty with Obama's performance. But they're returning to their 24/7 theme of attacking Romney.

"Romney at his best tonight, but his best is not good enough."

I think Romney did great. He did not convince me, in the least, to vote for him.

He's for regulation (boo). He's for big govt.

    No thanks.

He's just a bunch of catch phrases and prepared speeches. He has no substance to him and it was made painfully obvious.

yep, and on top of that he didn't have any spunk in his voice.

In a sporting cliche, instead of playing to win, he played not to lose.

Neil deGrasse Tyson ‏@neiltyson Cutting PBS support (0.012% of budget) to help balance the Federal budget is like deleting text files to make room on your 500Gig hard drive

Taxing those making $1 million and up 100% does nothing to reduce the federal debt, either, and it reduces money cycling through the economy.

Obama had better start with the Romney smears right now, because his approach to governance doesn't hold up when he must defend it.

Barry got his ass kicked tonight and doesn't understand basic economics. He needs to swing for the fences from now on, because even the media is turning on him tonight after his "uhh...ummm...my grandma...umm" disaster. I actually was cringing for the guy, because he was completely out of his league in terms of understanding domestic policy.
