The Mormon church, like most churches, is not a charity. It is an investment designed to avoid paying taxes and funnel the money either back to the "donor" after laundering it, or to address specific personal interests of the "donor".
I can direct you to an insurance company where you'll be free to buy many insurance policies for those that don't have it. If you don't, you're a selfish republican.
