For the Milwaukee Bucks. Taking away Michael Redd. The Bucks would have no consistant scoring threat. Mo Williams would have some huge games and Villanueva would probably put up 17 or so ppg. It would be a collective mess on offense with no outside scoring threat. Our defense wouldn't be effected. I can't imagine the Bucks without Redd.

If we take out either of Chris Paul or David West, the other could pick up the scoring load. We also have Tyson, Peja, and Des Mason to help with the load. The Hornets didn't fair so well while West missed some games last season, but with their offseason aquisitions, it looks like they will be able to perform better than last season if they lose a star.

Take away Dirk, and the Mavs have a steep drop off at the PF position. They still have Croshere, who isn't really a starting calibur guy anymore...But the Team as a whole is still a playoff team, and probably still a top 5-6 seed in the West, if not better. What they'd lose in scoring from Dirk, they'd make up for with Terry, Stack, Josh Howard, Harris, Ager, and any combo of role players.

If Bosh was gone, I really dunno who to turn to .. maybe Mo Pete has to step it up a lot, and Bargnani would get more minutes of course.

Take away Kobe and it would be a stretch for the team to win 15 games. Without Kobe to take away a lot of the defensive pressure, Brian Cook and Vladimir Radmanovic would be useless, and the rest of the team's offense would take a huge hit. Perimeter defense would be worse, but Maurice Evans is still a good defender, so it wouldn't be catastrophic.

Well we all know how the Rockets would look like without McGrady.

Take away Steve Nash, and we would be without a PG who is a natural for that position. Barbosa can play it, but he is a SG at heart. We wouldn't be able to fast break as well, and our points would go down quite a bit.Take away Amare...and you have the season we just had. Having to go to 7 games against the Lakers and Clippers because we have no power and defense inside. =P

I guess we will see since we just lost Van Horn [IMG] :(lol, but seriously. If we lost Dirk, it would be pretty rough. I don't think we would be contenders for the WCF anymore, but who knows. I still think we would be among the top 5 (which, in my opinion, isn't saying too too much). Pops would probably get a lot of playing time though, which would be interesting at the least. Jason is super underrated and has shown he can carry the team to some extent.

Out of the playoffs. We have trouble sometimes with a legit 2nd option behind Dirk as Howard and Terry are inconsistent. Take away the guy who opens them up in the offense, they'll force the action and as the motto go, we only as far as Dirk takes us. Without him, were just a sub .500 team battling for the lower playoff spots.

Sure they are better with Dirk but Croshere can hit the outside shot and a combination of Howard, Terry, Harris, Stackhouse, and Dampier will score enough to get some wins. I would say a 48 win team without Dirk.

Take away LeBron James... Well, before LeBron got there, 3 years ago, the Cavs went 17-65. They hadn't been to the playoffs since 1998, they hadn't had a winning record since 1998. If you take away LeBron, nobody likes the Cavs again.LeBron brings more than just wins to Cleveland, he brings media (besides the old usual, "in other news the Cavs suck), he brings importance to the Cavs, he brings fans, sold merchandise, and other good stuff. So without James, the Cavs would lose a lot more than just games.James brings so much to the game for the Cavs. He can play the playmaker, the scorer, the rebounder, or whatever is needed at the time. He does just about everything from his small foward spot. Which is good because the Cavs tend to play alirght defense or alright offense in a game, but usually not both. James gets the Cavs to step up a notch on both the defensive and offensive end. I know people like to say James sucks at defense, well he doesn't. Some people tend to forget that defensive rebounding is part of defense, well it is. James helps out in that area. James is quick with his hands and clogs up passing lanes. He is young, defense is something that can be learned just as much as offense believe it or not. James has a lot of talent to become a good defender. Remember, he is straight out of high school and hasn't had the teaching like other guys in the league, playing college ball is a good way to learn defense, James missed that. James has also had a young coach. I think Brown is like second youngest in the league or something, Brown hasn't head coached long at all, the Cavs are his first job. He does have expierence, just not as a head coach. So James and Brown are both learning here. James can see things on defense well, what his problem is, is his on ball defense. He gambles to much, he trys to go after the ball to much, this results in many times with his man going right by him. James can learn on ball defense, Eric Snow is great at that, hopefully he learns something from playing with him.Well anyways, the Cavs would suck again without LeBron. Picture all of the Cavs team abilities like a video game with an overall rating, James brings that overall rating in almost every area up a notch, without James everythign drops.

Take away Paul Pierce from the Celtics, we win 12-15 games and enter the Greg Oden race. Enough said, really. I mean like stated above, Wally would score near 25 ppg. Delonte would probably put up 20 (give or take a point or 2) and would take home MIP. Gerald Green would score 8-10 a night. I dunno man, I couldn't imagine this current team without Pierce. We would still be exciting to watch because of the youth, but god damn we wouldn't win at all.

Take away Arenas and we'd probably have a 30-35 win team..Caron would be averaging 25 and Jamison would be the same. Daniels would average 18 ppg off the bench. [IMG] Its not like we'd win 10-20 games, but we wouldnt even sniff the playoffs, either.

The Question for the Pistons is who do you take? I think the best overall player on our team is Chauncey, so take him off and plug in Flip Murray and I still say we fight for the 6th or 7th seed in the East with Tay, Rip and Sheed. Our offense wouldn't be as smooth and we wouldn't be nearly as good but I still think a playoff contender.

Take away CHris Bosh and we are a top 3 worst team in the League. You saw proof of this when Bosh went down late last year. We went like 1-12 during that stretch. Our only win was when we were playing a Pistons team that did not give a crap late last season.

Take away Pierce...jesus, I don't even wanna think about it  Celts would have no leadership, no clutch player, no real distraction player, the team would be an absolute mess. they'd be like the vancouver grizzlies of the late 90's.
