Take away your star player...what does your team look like?

Take away Carmelo Anthony and we have major problems, Denver would have no go to scorer. Alot of you guys are talking about how you will have another play fill the scoring void, In Denver we have nobody capable of doing so.

 

Take away kobe and i guarentee you this team will be the worst in the nba. No-one in this team understands the triangle and when you have odom as the first option that spells trouble. We weren't able to beat utah twice without kobe even though at that time utah absolutely sucked. I'm thinking we 15-20 simply because of phil because the talent on our team is awful.

 

take away marbury we will be decent better than last year

Well, Ben Wallace already left, and taking away Chauncey would cause a catastrophic collapse in stability. I don't agree with PistonFan11 on this one; Without C-Bill we are dead in the water. Chauncey is the only point guard on the Stones that fully understands the offensive system Flip wants the team to run and it would take Flip Murray a full year to catch up. So I'd say if we lost Chauncey THIS year, we would struggle to make the playoffs. If we hadn't already lost our best defensive player this past season I'd say we'd still be cruising without Ben. But lose them both and we're in full-scale rebuilding mode.

 

Without Kidd the Nets would be without direction. The guy might be a step slower than in his prime, but still one of the top 5 pg's in the L today. And I'm saying that without being biased :shifty2:

 

Take away Iverson and we would probably be worse but not to worse. Were already pretty messed up though right now as it is. The positives that would come out of it is more of our players would develop and get more touches. God that would suck having Webber as our first option though.

 

Take away Dwyane Wade, Shaq simply becomes the go to go guy. But we'd obviously be much worse and totally screwed in the 4rth quater, having to depend on people like Antoine Walker to score!
