I can only think of one, and he's still in college: Cody Zeller.

Eaton averaged 3.5 blocks per game over his career, which is awesome. His ppg and rpg were 6.0/7.9 respectively. And would foul out in every game in today's NBA

I'm glad Sly bumped this. It's only pre-season, but ML definitely has potential. I'm hoping there will be good reason to be bumping this one all season.

Meyers Leonard has never been a stiff. Not even in High School.

He looks better then what I expected SO FAR. Don't get ahead of yourselfs though. He has not even played 1 real nba game yet. I also said multiple times that I hope i'm wrong about him.

The thing I liked most about Leonard's game last night was the way he ran the court and picked up some easy points just by hustling and working hard. It's obvious he doesn't yet have a polished NBA-ready low post game, but if he can get 4 - 6 extra points a game off pure effort, beating his man down the floor, offensive rebounds, etc. it will help build his confidence - not to mention help his team.

The polished low post game will come later. He has the basic tools, but needs to work on putting it all together. He seems like a hard worker and Kim Hughes seems like a capable big man coach. It will take a while, but I am optimistic he will get there.

I think this team needed a Andre Miller/vet backup PG.

Or at least a decent enough backup SG.

btw, is anyone else getting confused seeing #24 and #3 and not thinking Andre Miller and Juan Dixon (and apologies to all for reminding you he was once a Trail Blazer)?

Perhaps as an homage to the OP, we should rename this thread:
