    Interesting comparisons thrown out by Andy McNamara today on the twitterz. This is through each's first 6 games. Thomas was a Redshirt Soph to Mariota's RS FR.

    Also for comparative purposes

    #22 Arizona
    @Washington St (in Seattle)

    Thomas was a pretty decent running threat his first year as a starter. The knee injury he sustained early on last year (Zona?) really slowed him down, but he retained his two best qualities being clutch & tough.

    DT was named All-Conference 2nd team following his first year and if anything it looks like MM is slightly ahead of his pace statistically. The big upcoming games will be a good gauge for him

    Interesting comparison. Almost identical, stats wise.
