Seven-time NBA All-Star Tracy McGrady says he is headed for China to play for the Qingdao DoubleStar Eagles in the Chinese Basketball Association.
Tracy McGrady is Penny Hardaway. There were times where you'd pay your child's lunch money for their new shoes. They're two of the greatest players that have ever played the game that no one will remember in the long run. I remember a time when Penny Hardaway was one of the greatest players in the NBA, on the top of the world and in every commercial! Injuries happen... then you have Kobe vs. T'Mac! McGrady is on track to break every other record, while signing shoe deals for $$$ million. Injuries happen... then you have Kevin Durant! Well, Kevin Durant has no injury history, but he was labeled "injury prone" out of college due to his similar stature to guys like Grant Hill, Penny Hardaway, and Tracy McGrady. The thing we need to realize though, is that Durant's really not that far into his career. An injury can still happen. Hell, with his stature, multiple injuries will probably plague his career. Ex: Hill, Hardaway, McGrady. During their prime, if some one told me the downhill path that Hardaway, Hill, or McGrady would take following injuries, I"d laugh at them. Therefore, I'll probably be laughed at for suggesting a similar career trajectory for Durant's lanky frame...
