    Evans wouldn't take a warm-up at middleweight and the UFC wouldn't give him a straight shot at Silva, so I guess he's just treading water in that division for now.

    ^ Yet another card in Brazil. Erick Silva has four UFC fights and only one hasn't been in Brazil. Kind of crazy how often they are going there nowadays.

    Josh Koscheck is interested in fighting Demian Maia or Nick Diaz. The Diaz return fight makes sense. Kos is a terrible match-up for Maia.

    Don't like that matchup for Nick Diaz either, but they're both high level WW and it sure would be interesting to see them promote that fight.

    Bisping is going to sleep. Bisping's pillow fists won't be enough to topple Vitor's mix of speed and power.

    Bisping is only 2/3rds as good as Franklin, who Belfort starched. Yet I wouldn't bet on Belfort in this fight. Belfort's attacking technique is wild and his gas tank is a question mark. Bisping can stay away and wear him down. Three rounds, though, anything can happen.

    Bigfoot Silva doesn't like that Alistair Overeem gets to jump the queue and fight for the title as soon as he gets back. He wants to fight him first, even if "he was built in a lab."

    Oops... Bigfoot got popped for Boldenone in 2008. How soon we forget?

    Nick Diaz is most likely to face Josh Koscheck for his return fight in February. His camp are less interested in Demian Maia who isn't as famous stateside.

    Diaz fans are worried about it but I don't think they should. Kos has good wrestling, but he'll get outclassed on the feet and Nicks' BJJ is dangerous.

    I'm a Diaz fan and I'm worried about it. I think Kos has enough savvy and experience to not get subbed, even despite Nick's excellent BJJ.

    Also wonder what Diaz has been working on during the long layoff. Already had elite boxing and BJJ, wonder if he worked extensively on wrestling, Muy Thai, or something else.

    Big Nog and Fabricio Werdum will coach the next TUF Brazil. Guess that means they'll fight in 4-6 months.

    Sean Sherk badly wants back into the UFC. He still has two fights left on his deal. We haven't seen him since a controversial split decision win over Evan Dunham in 2010, IIRC. He's been dealing with a lot of injuries one after another. No word yet on whether he wants to return as a lightweight or smaller.

    Couple of updates...

    - Anthony Pettis is recovering and still planning on fighting Donald Cerrone in January (yay!)
    - Bisping vs. Belfort is not signed yet
    - Aldo vs. Edgar will be in Las Vegas, not Brazil, at UFC 156
    - Junior dos Santos is the latest UFC fighter to land a Nike deal (along with Anderson Silva, Jon Jones, and various Japanese fighters)
    - Talk about Jones vs. Chael Sonnen being a stadium show
    - Big Nog & Werdum confirmed as TUF Brazil 2 coaches, fighting in June (wow long way away)

    Contrary to other reports, and the fight that JDS wants, Alistair Overeem may not get a title shot on his return to the UFC after all.

    Stephan Bonnar has retired from MMA. As usual, take the news with a grain of salt.

    Jon Jones expects that he'll move up to heavyweight, perhaps by the end of 2013.
