It's an article about the pick and roll. It goes into detail about Lillard realizing he needed to learn the pick and roll in college so that he could find success in the NBA. It's a good read. We have a STAR in Portland.
I devoutly hope that someone is teaching our bigs the "and roll" portion of the pick and roll. But I have been stoked about Lillard's P&R vision (combined with a deep jumper) since before Penn broke it down draft night. DraftExpress was on it.
btw, my L*ker hate goes without saying, but I love seeing a team with 3-4 passers that can run a motion/Princeton-esque offense. There's so many ways they can beat you on offense.
Lillard has good body control being able to adjust his speed on the fly with his quick feet. It would be nice to have a big knowing how to play the pick and roll. The Vanilla Gorilla certainly knew how to set a proper pick. We'll see how our bigs adjust to a real pick and roll type of offense.
