Wow. What a bunch of swill. If Obama really believes the crap expressed in that campaign ad and is re-elected, this country is screwed.

That was a bunch of shit, talk about putting a twist on history...

What I did find funny is the fact that they had to put it into cartoon form for barrys supporters to understand

Wow, way to insult 47% of the population. Thing is Obama supporters already understand this, that's why they are voting for him. So who is it really dumbed down for? Apparently it was still to complex of a idea for some.

could be that those insulted deserve being insulted

Most of the "47 percent" are going to vote for barry out of greed ( public unions, state, federal and city workers, those recieving favorable treatment under bail out and hand outs)

another sector will repete the same mistake out of pride,

93 percent of the black vote will go to barry, I will refrein from the "R" word here...

and lastly many will vote for him because they just do not follow world events or even local politics..many could not tell you who the vice president is..

    yeah..they should be ashamed

The black vote isn't racist...that demographic has been in the 90%+ for Democrats since the 50's, with a bump into the double-digits for (wait for it...) George W.

Also, I think people misunderstood Romney's 47% remark.

That's 47% of the vote he can't win no matter what. Some receive benefits from the government, some think they're robin hood, and some will simply vote straight ticket D.

you know, you reminded me of a paper I read on the histroy of the black vote..you are correct. hard to believe that the republican party actually championed the blacks and their rights...

I still think that they would vote for barry if he had a green party badge

Nixon won 36% of the black vote in 1968. Yes, 1968.

It's not a tax dodge. In fact, he pays MORE in tax over the lifetime of the trust than he would have without the trust. That is, he pays personal income tax rate on the yearly payments which add up to more than the one-time 15% capital gains tax would have been.

No his remark was not misunderstood at all. He grouped the the 47% all together.

Hearing what he actually thinks is much better than his usual pathological lying.

"There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe that government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it. That that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what. And I mean, the president starts off with 48, 49, 48—he starts off with a huge number. These are people who pay no income tax. Forty-seven percent of Americans pay no income tax. So our message of low taxes doesn't connect. And he'll be out there talking about tax cuts for the rich. I mean that's what they sell every four years. And so my job is not to worry about those people—I'll never convince them that they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives. What I have to do is convince the 5 to 10 percent in the center that are independents that are thoughtful, that look at voting one way or the other depending upon in some cases emotion, whether they like the guy or not, what it looks like. I mean, when you ask those people…we do all these polls—I find it amazing—we poll all these people, see where you stand on the polls, but 45 percent of the people will go with a Republican, and 48 or 4…"

Granted, he jumbled it all together, rambled a bit.

Who knows what he really believes. He seems to play to the audience, wipe the slate clean, and then do it all over again at the next gathering.

I think he was talking to fundraisers or people who'd donate. He explained how he'd put their money to use. The "not going to worry about them" comment indicates he wasn't going to spend the money trying to persuade those voters to change from Obama. He's talking ELECTION and campaign strategy, not about how he'd govern. To these people, in this context.

    Context matters.

As much as I think republicans parsed too much into Obama's words regarding the "when our people die it's not optimal," I think democrats are parsing too much into Romney's words here.

here you go http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvqHERTcytI not even the whole video, just the part that seems to upset you.

Now take it in context, he said nothing that was untrue. Nothing that one should take offense to
