Hickson can't be traded hobbes without his permission as he's on a one year contract.

With Afflalo on the Magic roster, I doubt they would be interested. Not seeing a good fit for his contract anywhere.

Hopefully the Blazers realize no high end FA will come here, and trade for an elite type player in a lopsided salary trade this deadline

we are only 2.6 mil under the cap, , we will have 11-13 mil in capspace this summer, it will be hard to do a big lopsided deal at this year's deadline. We have some small expirings but that will likely not get it done.

I knew that. I'm an idiot.

Maybe if we aren't top 3 or 4 in the lottery we deal that pick for an older established player from a team looking to deal salary?

from memory next summer will not be all that good a FA pool, especially at positions we might go after. So perhaps a lopsided trade, with our pick, would be an avenue Olshey will explore. Much will depend on how guys like Wes and Batum perform this year, I assume Lillard will have a good rookie year. Amd Meyer's progression this year will IMO be important as well

Well, I have now come to understand why you're just mediocre, lol. We already dealt the pick and it's top 12 protected. :sherlock:

So as I said, if the pick is top 4, we should use it. If it is 5-12 it's still ours, and we can still deal it, or deal the player we select for another team there.
