he didn't have the best sophmore season due to some injuries, will he rebound? Some are thinking that if he doesn't come through, he may be trade bait because Sean May is a capable replacement.
I'm not sure. I like Okafor, I really do. The kid can play, and could make it big. This coming season will be very interesting to see if he's able to come back from a somewhat disappointing season. If he keeps injury-free, I got pretty high hopes for him.Sean May? I was disappointed the Nets didn't draft him last year, but now I'm glad they didn't. May ain't bad, but I don't expect him to be anything more than a decent power forward. Already battling injuries, and let's be honest, he's a bit overweight. Let's just hope he doesn't become a second Oliver Miller.

So both of them need to rebound, neither one is trade bait. But even then, if the organization had a gun to their head and had to choose between Okafor/May, you bet your balls they would hold onto Emeka. If he can bounce back from all these injuries, there is no doubt he will be an All-Star in this league and a dominant force on the defensive end. He has the size, the strength, the defensive mindset, and is a very mature/professional man. If he can overcome all these injuries, watch out.

I hope Okafor comes back, he averaged 15/11 for gods sake if he could develope his offensive game and stay healthy...woah.

He has also extended his range and took a few three's in summer league (and shot a good % from the 2-3 games I saw). May is going to be a good player in this league, but like Okafor, has to overcome the injuries.

Can't predict what will happen, so we'll just have to wait and see. Sean May got some skills, soft hands, and could be a capable player. As you said earlier, both him and Okafor need to rebound. I more ways than one.
Before May was injured at the start of last season i think he looked really good, but regardless Emeka has a bigger upside IMO and he had a great rookie season
I really want him to have a great season. I liked him coming out of college but he has been hurt and what not. They have Okafor jerseys at a local store for 30% off and thats a great price. I still might get one.
