I'll forget to post a prediction in the morning before going to work and the game will be over by the time I'm home from work. Thus, I must get my prediction in now. Feelin' the Blazer love. Its either that or a combination of lactose and Laker intolerance. Blazers 97 Lakers 96 Gramps...
L.A. is a mess right now... I'm sure Vegas is going crazy right now trying to project this one... Dwight is the strongest man in the NBA, but he's the weakest mentally. The opening day loss could really fuck with his psyche. However, Kobe's the strongest player in the league mentally, and I can't see him playing such a passive role in this next game. One stat that is overlooked in the Mavericks loss is this: Kobe Bryant - 0-0 FT, 0-0 3pt Maybe his foot was bothering him... who knows. All I know is that, even if Kobe's foot is bothering him, he's not going to accept an 0-2 start. For that reason, I'll throw out - LA - 95 Portland - 88 I don't see either team breaking the 100 point barrier if Mike Brown (the worst coach in any professional sport) runs the same offense he ran in game one.
It's opening night. It's the Lakers playing in Portland. The Lakers have the clear advantage in experience, size and overall talent...so... Blazers 96 Lakers 89
Terry Stotts wants his team amped up tonight; he is the anti-Sarge. Should be interesting! Portland 104 Lakers 100 Barn-burner in the Garden! Thanks, Gramps!
