Who fucking cares? Nate coached a ROY, and this team is now 2 coaches removed from Nate.

If I'm Freeland, I'm wondering why I came over from Europe.

You underestimate the Power of the Injury Side.

I don't think they'll see the court unless there's an injury or foul trouble. Price, Jefferies, Pavlovich and Leonard will get all the backup minutes. Nolan Smith might play a little backup 2. I think the Blazers are done with Babbit. Freeland is a capable player, but Portland wants to develop Leonard, and Jefferies is a bit quicker on defense.

Well they have lost 12 (or 14 ) straight games if that helps.

Those other two didn't amount to much but hopefully Lillard bucks the trend.

Failton last year never had a game of 23 & 11. He did have a 30 point night once (6 assists) but his season high in assists was only 12.

Loved Lillard, Batum, Wes, and JJ after he got it going. Aldridge started hot, then cold, which is fine, but what I didn't like was that he didn't have a single rebound until almost half time. At half he also didn't have a single FT, and I hadn't seen a single post-move that resulted in scoring in the paint. Not even an attempt. He needs to get tougher is what I'm saying, but fortunately he won't have to go against Superman every night.

Smith and Jeffries were serviceable, Meyers did alright considering he goes against D-ho in his first professional game, and Sasha's 7 point spurt was really really important. Overall though I'd like more from the bench, pretty surprised Freeman didn't get in.

Glad I didn't bet on this game, I'd have lost everything. Fun game to watch.

If the Lakers had a bench, they'd be a hell of a lot scarier. This would have been a fucking blowout if Howard hadn't shocked the world with his free throw shooting.

That's not true, he had 23 donuts and 11 pieces of pie before every game.

Nice stoked to see we got the win against the Lakers! I saw the stats, can anyone tell me did Lillard look as good as his stats suggest? What were his passes like? Also nice to see Batum do so well, if he can do that consistently watch out.

He looked great. His shot was a little off, but he played in control and really only had a couple of really bad passes. The others were just simply him trying to make a play. One example was a pass to Aldridge under the hoop that LMA should have caught, but it was so fast that it bounced off his hands and out of bounds. Not really Lillard's fault.

He also didn't look like a rookie. Other than his energy level tapering off near the end of the game (something that goes away with experience), he looked pretty level-headed and confident out there.

Blake got under his skin a bit, which I think he'll learn to deal with. Other than that, totally calm and in control.

Lillard appears to be the best true point guard in the Western Conference...only guy you can make an argument for is Chris Paul...and he's average at best..Lillard's just a rookie and already might be better
