    Shane Carwin has a knee injury and has pulled out of the fight with Nelson. Wow, coaches never seem to fight anymore...

    Royce Gracie, of all people, has accused Carwin of messing up his cycle and pulling out of the fight.

    Somebody remind Royce he's failed a steroids test and lost the fight to boot.

    This is the first TUF season I have completely not followed. Friday nights are turrrible for this show. Thankfully it's moving to Tuesday's. Even more thankfully I recently got a PVR.

    I wouldn't mind DVR'ing the show to watch on Saturday morning, if soccer wasn't on, and if the show was the least bit interesting anymore. Can't see myself coming back to it anytime soon. I guess some people have watched all 39 seasons of Survivor...


    In non-me news, Matt Mitrione was offered VADA testing alongside Roy Nelson but said he didn't want to do it, calling it "a distraction."

    So many finishes tonight. Pretty incredible. Actually made for a bad presentation of the show since it was 80% filler and Goldy jabbering and repeating himself ad nauseum. Fights were good. Loads of finishes. Varner continues to be one of the most controversial fighters in MMA all of his own doing.

    Rustam Khabilov's German suplexes were amazing but the fights were so good I kind of forgot about that one. Poirier/Brookins was great, Pyle/Head was great, Barry/SDR was great, Nelson/Mitrione was great... TUF final was pretty lame. Did you know Colton Smith is in the army? I think they might've failed to mention it. Or maybe I missed them saying it about ten thousand times.

    I didn't watch a second of TUF this season but I guess this Ricci kid is a lightweight who went up to be on the show. Probably see him at 155 next time out. Smith didn't seem to be the best wrestler/grappler but was way too much for him tonight.
