The list was kind of funny, but reasons 10-50 should just be "their fans"

I didn't know Kobe actually rides a helicopter to work and I didn't know Black Mambas are not black.

I didn't know about Kwame Brown throwing a man's birthday cake at him. I am very protective of cakes.

I could think of another 50. Easily. But this was a good start.

If you want to ride a helicopter to work, more power to you, but this guy crossed with L*kersground guy sums it up pretty well.

Back when I was younger and my posts were better on the ESPN board, I chanced upon Kobe's home address. So I ran it through a map program, got driving instructions to there from Staples Center, and posted them.

He has an hour drive. You can't get into the neighborhood, as there's a gate about 5 miles from his house. I would imagine there are more gates before you get to his own sentry and driveway. He's on a hill, but not all that far from the neighbor houses, at most 100 yards.

Yeah, he basically lives like 1.5-2 hours in LA traffic from Staples Center.

I remember being surprised how far it is. Orange County, I think, and far off the freeway. The helicopter doesn't really surprise me.

yeah, its pretty normal, probably more comfortable than having to buy a condo close to staples, worry about traffic, and all that shit, esp when you're making several hundred thousand dollars per game.
