Deron Williams anybody? He is a great leader who never seems to get rattled. He is a winner and I think that will help out Utah this season. If he gets consistent minutes at the PG spot, I expect him to have a big year. He is a great shooter so that will help him. He isnt a flashy player and that may be why he doesnt get alot of recognition but he gets the job done. He is a fundamental player and I have alot of respect for him as a basketball player.

I'll go for Delonte, IF we ship some youth out for vets and/or take care of the logjam in the backcourt. The kid is a natural born leader, and he can do anything for his team. He is an EXCELLENT shooter (50% for a pg is almost unheard of), he's a good passer, he'll do the dirty work, he's tough, he's scrappy, he'll do anything to win.

Shaun Livingston. Even though me and Ballerman are in a heated debate over him :boxin: , he has to be considered one of the best up-incoming point guards around.Devin Harris also. :beerchug:

Shaun Livingston obviously, he has better potential than anyone on that list..

And some people are counting TJ Ford out, but he played very well for the Bucks in the first half of the season, often flirting with triple-doubles.I wonder how Marcus Williams will do with the Nets....

He is not a natural PG, and will never be a playmaker. He is a natural SG with skills to play the point, converting him to a combo-guard in the NBA. I love Delonte, and he is/will be a good player, but not a top PG. If he was 2 inches taller he would be a full-time SG.How can you leave Devin Harris, Deron Williams, and Shaun Livingston off this list? That baffles me. Harris is a high energy guard who can penetrate and set up his teammates. His defense has improved a great deal under Avery as well. Utah definitely should have taken Chris Paul at #3, but Deron will be a good player as well. I love the guy, and he is one of my favorite 05 draftees. He is a good playmaker, he's strong, athletic, and if he gets a rhythm he can stroke the ball (he needs to develope consistancy though). And Livingston has the POTENTIAL to be one of the best players in the NBA down the road. His skill-set, size, and athleticism is almost too good to be true. If he can overcome injuries, he will be a star. How about Telfair? Sure, I'm a Celtics fan lol, but if you are going to put a Celtics guard on this list in definitely has to be Telfair over Delonte, especially when you are talking about POINT GUARDS. He has great court vision, a lot of heart, toughness, penetration skills, and speed. Add those together with time and effort, you have yourself a player. I think he has a good future ahead of him if he works hard, and I wouldn't be totally suprised to see him in the top 10 in assists in his prime.

I'm thinking that Randy Foye is assumed on the top six list. Timberwolves will be happy with this NBA-ready player.

Watch out for Louis Williams in a few two to three years... this kid is going to be a pretty solid player for the Sixers in the future.

I thought Louis Williams was a SG. I do like his game though.

If Foye plays PG, I'd put him on the list, I wouldn't have Delonte though. I think that Deron Williams will be much better than Delonte.

True, he's only about 24 right? He's got some good strong years ahead. Too bad the wiz are a total joke.
