    1. Arenas is not an up-and-commer anymore, he's a young star. He's been an All-Star the past 2 years, and has proved himself to be one of the best scorers in this league.2. The Wizards are not a complete joke. They have 2 All-Star players right now (Arenas, Jamison) and a future All-Star (Butler). They have a promising young wing off the bench (Hayes, if he can stay healthy), a solid combo guard in Daniels, an underrated athletic wing in Stevenson, an underrated big man in Haywood, and a coach that works his players hard. I think all they need is an upgrade on the bench, and a PG. Then, they will be something to watch out for.

haywood has about the offense of ben wallace, without as much D. Jamison's 30 something, getting up there in age. Butler has yet to be very impressive, Daniels is overpayed for what he does, and Hayes isn't THAT amazing, though he's solid I suppose.

Something-to-Say, you dont know anything about the Wizards. Haywood may be poor offensively but he's better at it than guys like Tyson Chandler and Sam Dalembert. Jamison may be aging, but his trade value hasnt gone down at all and he's putting up great numbers. You're obviously underrating Butler very much. He is the HEART and SOUL of the Wizards. There was a stretch of games where we went 0-5 without Butler at the end of the season, and when he wasnt there we looked like a totally different team. Butler is something special, and I expect to have averages of 21 ppg, 7 rpg, and 2 apg. Daniels may be somewhat overpaid, but just about 60% of players in the NBA are overpaid. That statement doesnt make much sense anymore. And he's way more valuable than you think. Again, its like the Caron situation. Hayes has all the gifts in the world to be a great NBA player, but he's just too injury-prone. We added guys like Stevenson and Songaila too, they give us depth out there on the floor. During the playoffs, we pretty much only had a 6-man rotation. We can go 8 deep now, and Blatche may be ready to contribute this season. Dont ever count us out, man..

0% chance the Wiz make the ECF this year.I just remembered what annoyed me about Haywood. Sorry, it wasn't his offense, it was his FREE THROW SHOOTING. I was in the Finals in my Fantasy League, and it was split. I took everyone down except Haywood(I was close in rebounds), and i ended up winning what I needed to, but lost because of FREE THROWs. He went like 0-6 or something. He's as bad as ben wallace.

The stars pulling in $15-20M a year? Give me a break. The funny thing is, we are so used to the high salaries that we don't even think of it anymore. I mean Brian Scalabrine makes $3M a year. Come on...

He can score, and he's shown that he can be a playmaker while he's at PG ( In the summer leagues). He's a combo tweener guard...

99 percent are overpaid. I dont think Deshawn is overpaid at all now, lol.As for the list, I think youve got to mention Deron Williams and Chris Duhon.

[IMG] Or maybe its because of the name "Chris Paul" comes up every time when we're talking about young and talented PGs. I like Duhon but he will never shine backing up Kirk Hinrich.

He is a young guy who is a very smart pg, and he has good scoring skills as well. He has a polished jumper, and he is relatively quick. I think its crazy to say that he will be with Chicago, backing up Hinrich is whole career. I doubt he is in Chicago two years from now. He is on the verge of thriving, and I doubt that he would rather play backup then start right now.

He was a steal in the 2nd rd at the 31st pick and I dont think he wants to be a backup for his whole NBA career, either.
