To be fair, I think we'd have won a few more games had we had 17 more games to work with.

The dream is always to win a championship. Doesn't matter what players you have, what team you're on, or what city you play in.

Yeah, maybe we should offer Pek the max... he's got 15 points in 10 minutes so far against Brooklyn.

Pek is a baller. Top 5 Center in the league.

Marc Gasol pretty much had a perfect game tonight. He had 22 pts, 8 rbs, 8 asts, 3 blks, 0 turnovers, 6-11 FG, 10-10 FT in 36 minutes.

That almost looks like a perfect game, except for one thing - only 8 rebounds. Although, the other thing is, Z-Bo had 18 rbs.

While you might question why Marc Gasol is only averaging 7 rpg on the season, his frontcourt partner is averaging 16 rpg, and I think that explains for the less than impressive rebounding numbers. The thing is, Marc's been the whole team for most of those three games, and the rebounding numbers are just a result of the circumstance of playing with Z-Bo.

Otherwise, I don't see too many centers in the league playing better than Gasol has played early on.

Also, on that note, have there ever been two players, in a full season, to average 10+ rpg on the same team?

I checked ESPN's stats that only go back to the '99 season, and the only record I could find was last season in Utah (Millsap and Jefferson), but that wasn't during a full season.

I'm sure there have been some players, probably on the Celtics, Lakers, 76'ers, or Knicks, to have done that in the past. I'm just wondering how rare it is, especially in the present era of basketball.

Doesn't surprise me. He seems the consummate on-off guy. I wouldn't be shocked by a 40pt game here or there---especially on a team like CLE-- but I also won't be shocked when he pulls a couple of 1-14 games in a row.

Finally, there's some doubt in OKC. I've been waiting for them to crumble for a while now.
