Monday, 12:46pm: Early voting in Florida has turned into a fiasco, as some voters have waited at least six hours to vote. According to the Huffington Post, "They didn't have the infrastructure," filmmaker Lucas Leyva, who was among those turned away, told The Huffington Post's Janie Campbell. "We read the press release and everything that went out this morning, promising we'd be able to get absentee ballots and vote. We got here and there was a line of hundreds of people all being told the same thing, that that wasn't true anymore. You could drop off [a ballot], but they could not issue one." And if getting turned away from the polls weren't enough of an indignity, some of those 180 people ended up getting their cars towed from the parking lot across the street, according to a Miami Herald reporter. Given that this is occuring in Democratic-leaning areas, and also the fact that Republican Governor Rick Scott has refused to extend early voting hours, a Romney win in Florida and the general election could mean a major controversy, a la Florida in the 2000 presidential election. http://www.policymic.com/articles/1...polls-senate-races-exit-polls-and-predictions
Re: Florida Governor rigging the election, again so today, are they going to have signs for the special Florida Republican Voting line so I can get in easier? Or is this complete BS, again?
Re: Florida Governor rigging the election, again Do they have murals of Mitt on the walls of the polling places? Do they have Black Panthers monitoring the polling places and intimidating voters? Go Blazers
Re: Florida Governor rigging the election, again I love Florida!!!! In other news; the black panthers are intimidating voters once again in Philly. Saying that Obama will be elected no matter what.
Re: Florida Governor rigging the election, again what are you getting at? that there is no such thing as democratic/republican leaning areas?
Re: Florida Governor rigging the election, again County election boards are responsible for voting in their districts. LOL What does the governor of Florida have to do with this?
Re: Florida Governor rigging the election, again The mural is understandable. The polling place is a school.
Re: Florida Governor rigging the election, again shit rolls uphill these days, kinda like why everything is obamas fault to some people
Re: Florida Governor rigging the election, again Ya know, if it weren't for the comedic absurdity of your posts maris, I think you'd be banned.
Re: Florida Governor rigging the election, again Hahahaha!! Yes, I remember the Reagan murals when I was in elementary school.
Re: Florida Governor rigging the election, again In the month before the election, PapaG has started 10 times as many ridiculously biased threads. And the Black Panther "news" is just Magnifier and Oldguy parroting what is all over Fox News today.
Re: Florida Governor rigging the election, again who did bush blame everything on? edit: oh yeah the terrorists!
Re: Florida Governor rigging the election, again How about moving the polls to a different room. Gym, Auditorium, cafeteria. Do all those spaces have Obama murals? If so, are there no other schools that don't? Go Blazers
Re: Florida Governor rigging the election, again So if the biggest cable news channel reports it, it's not news? (Like the Bengazi non-story with the rest of the news channels?) Go Blazers
Re: Florida Governor rigging the election, again Ever since Bush started the war against Arabs, we in the U.S. have heard nothing but war propaganda. Now when a Democratic administration puts out a story when attacked, Fox politicizes it. I wish Democrats would politicize Republican war propaganda.
Re: Florida Governor rigging the election, again I find no humor in treasonous acts, nor have I ever done anything that would remotely warrant "banning" me.
