    Jimmy Carter is a nice guy and a fellow Naval Academy grad who originally was a submariner before he bailed.

    He wouldn't have received my vote in 1980 (had I been old enough) and wouldn't receive it if he was running today.

    Patty Murray seems like a nice enough lady, but she wouldn't get my vote, either.
