Name some players games you admire the most, and explain why...Kobe Bryant - Outside of the fact that he's my favorite, his work ethic is somewhat of Jordan's and that amazes me. His determination to win and succeed.Elton Brand - Guy puts up 20-10 in his sleep and barely gets recognized until this past year. The jumper is pretty nice too for a PF.Chris Paul - The speed combined with the vision is amazing to watch. I love the way he breaks down defense just by penetrating.
Paul Pierce-He's under appreciated, can score from anywhere, is an effective rebounder and defensive player. Also he doesn't rely on his athleticism as much as other superstars in the league do.Elton Brand-He's still underrated in my mind, he's an absolute beast. Like you said Lefty, he puts up 20 and 10 in his sleep. It's a standard issue for Brand.Lamar Odom-Can play pretty much every position except center. Knows how to pass well, rebound, and score. There are few players in the league that have his size and range of talents.Gary Payton-One of the greatest point guards of all time. His defense was spectacular back in his prime. He still can be a really nice back up point guard. Has one of the best work ethics in the league. Ryan Gomes-Very small power forward. Averaged a near double-double as a starter last year for the Celtics. Is incredibly polished, does not make a lot of mistakes. Can score down low effectively, rebound with anyone, and has a mid-range jump shot. This kid will be a great player, you can count on it.I could go on and on with this thread....
Chauncey Billups - Though his percentages weren't great this last playoff run, he's the most clutchiest guy in the league at times and has a Kobe-like work ethic. Can take over games with perimeter shooting, dribble penetration, or passing seemingly at will. Best combo guard in the league IMO.
Tim Duncan- He has some of the best footwork in the NBA, he mastered the 15-18 foot bank shot, he is a winner, a leader, and a very good teammate. There is nothing about the guy that I cant admire.
Tim Duncan is tops on my list.Chauncey Billups, Jason Kidd, Ben Wallace, Tayshaun Prince, Kirk Hinrich, to name a few.
Well, of course I like my Nets, but gotta give props to a guy like Brand. Dude is playing solid his whole career.

Super amazing at defense, with an occasional three pointer.
Dwyane Wade. Aside from the fact that he is my favorite player, he is such a great player. He is so explosive to the basket and can make incredible shots. Amazing at driving into the lane and drawing the fouls so he can get to the line and get some free points. Can also set up plays for team mates really good too. He also plays just like I do and is how tall I am going to be when I grow up, which makes me like him even more because I have someone to look up to.
Tim Duncan - I'm fundamentalShane Battier - Fundamental Jr.Mike Bibby - Just like how he plays.Chris Paul - See aboveElton Brand - To me he really came around as solid all around last yearAs you can tell I like consistent, sound players. I find them hard to come by in this day and age in basketball. Maybe it is boring, I don't know. . . But I admire their play.A few others - though it is more that I just enjoy watching them, more than admire.Dwight HowardDwayne WadeRay AllenMost of the NuggetsFew of the Knicks (very few)
Wade and A.I. - Alwayz fun to see them take it hard to the hoop no matter who's in their way and make those acrobatic shots.

No, sorry i don't call that humble. His quotes and everything during the playoffs makes me thing otherwise.Marion is not someone you should admire, he thinks he should get more press even though his numbers would drop without the offense he is in. Once he goes into a halfcourt team and without a good point guard then we'll see how good he is. I don't respect people who think there worth more press.Someone on the suns who i admire is boris diaw.
Tim Duncan- People call him boring, but I think his game is beautiful. He has wonderful post game, unmatched by anyone. And that bank shot is wonderful to watch.Yao Ming- For obvious reasons. Still, besides the fact he's my favorite player, he still has a great post up game, great spin move. Jason Kidd- People say he's lost a step, but he still can thread a pass better than anyone. I would also like to tack on the end of this Jason Williams. People say he's lost his flashiness (which might or might not be a good thing), but he still can come up with that extra special play sometimes, and it's wonderful to watch. Both Kidd and Williams are anklebreakers, so it's not just their passing that's fun to watch.Tracy McGrady- I've mentioned before how amazing his jumpshot is. He can just pull up on a dime, and hit from anywhere inside 30 feet. It's amazing. When he's uninjured, and hot, he's just absolutely unstoppable. There are probably some more to list, but those are my favorite favorites.

You haven't so I won't.Nash is a good person OFF the court too. He does tons of charity and all that stuff. Kobe... rapes people. Literally.
Tracy Mcgrady- he just plays smooth ballJason Williams- I have 2 agree with hang elevenTim Duncan- He may be boring but he is one of the most consistent players in the leagueJosh Howard- He is just an all around playerYao Ming- Despite his critics he is molding into better center night in and night out NOWI can go on and on......Etc.Chris Bosh
