Practicing physicians can't use any marijuana in CO, medical or otherwise. http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/773544?src=nldne
Nope, it's conservatives of all ages vs liberals of all ages. http://www.seattlepi.com/news/article/Washington-voters-legalize-recreational-pot-use-4015003.php 55% to 45%. Urban Seattle for, eastern farmers against.
That article says we have to wait a year for the State government to get its act together. And the Federal government may stop the State, although Obama has said that in his second term, he wants to open a national discussion about marijuana. So maybe he won't enforce and we'll see actual hope and change in a year. I won't hold my breath--well, not till holding my breath serves a good purpose.
Obama's DoJ closed down all the medical marijuana dispensaries around here. I don't partake, but it did piss me off. I really don't see it as govt.'s business.
I got high and forgot to (or didn't care enough to) mail my ballot. Signed: About 3/4 of the stoners that Wookiee knows personally.
this is the problem with blindly following what the government says, all the sheep are so confused now "but, but it is illegal so its bad!" "well, its not illegal anymore" "umm but it was bad before! now its good?" "no, it was always good, youll get it someday"
How close was it for Oregon? Portland had the first weed cafe in the country. Kinda surprised it failed. Well, there's always 2016 to look forward to!
It seems unlikely that the measure actually was voted down. This is Oregon, after all. I think a more likely scenario is state-sponsored voter fraud.
Im thinking thats because of how the laws were set up. Oregon law was a free for all pretty much when it comes to production and sales, where Washington put in strict DUI standards and sets up a state regulated production distribution with small amounts being legal for the average person. The Washington DUI standards are also to tough from what I hear, the blood levels can potentially cause someone to fail a test if they are a heavy smoker but haven't even smoked that day which isnt fair. Colorado seems to be somewhere between Oregon's free for all and Washingtons more strict laws. My questions on this laws are how will it effect job drug screenings in these states. Im also curious to see what gets into productions, Im expecting to see it go corporate with Marlborough and Camel greens soon.
