    His first Campaign Promises

And yeah this is from a conservative opinion; but it's the truth. The numbers don't lie.

So now that Obama won the election, will he pay up on his promises?

I have it on good authority that he will keep his promises as soon as ODENISGOD delivers on his and takes SPD to a game.

Has there been a president who hasn't promised the moon and failed to deliever.

I was for Romney but didn't really believe he could actually cut taxes on the rich and cut the deficit. I was just hoping it wouldn't grow as much under Romney.

The problem is that both sides pander to their base. Obama has never been as liberal as promised and Romney was not as conservative as promised. Same goes for McCain, Clinton, Bush, Jr., etc.

I have resigned myself to not caring about election promises. Last election I went 3rd Party. This election I voted Obama, but I knew the world wasn't going to end no matter who won. The main reason I voted Obama frankly was because there are people I know and care about that really are depending on Obamacare surviving or some form of universal health care. I knew that if Romney won, it was likely getting axed.
