Out of touch isn't exactly the best way to put it. "Most" republicans believe in Christ. The Bible is clear where it stands on homosexuality, so to say the party is out of touch is basically calling the Bible false.
The Bible supports slavery and there are plenty of rules in the Bible that most Christians don't follow. You can be a Christian and out of touch.
By the way, I think those people who want gay marriage don't realize how good they have it. I'm certain that gay divorce will suck as much as straight divorce does.
tell me you dont really believe this lol, because the bible is "clear" where it stands on beating off (death), cursing at your parents (death, hell) wearing two types of fabric (hell) shaving (hell) people who have mutilated genitals (hell), people who are blind (hell) oh and if a mormon comes to your door, KILL THEM just want to make sure you believe in the whole bible and not just one stupid part, because that would just be completely fucking stupid
Why do I feel like the parent(s) who went out for the evening and told the kids to not tear up the house while we're gone....then come back to something just short of Risky Business?
thats crap, sorry man cant take some of it as gods word, and throw some of it in the garbage, all or nothing, what line are you in
I doubt that I would have much success on a message board attempting to convince you of the veracity of the Bible. That said, II Timothy 3:15 says, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." I'll go with that. The Bible also says that God's ways are far above our ways. It boils down to faith and trust. I have faith and trust that God knows what He's doing. Most likely, you'll have a response to my comments. That's OK. As I basically mentioned, you're gonna believe what you're gonna believe. I'm gonna believe what I'm gonna believe, as well. Peace.
peace to you as well abm the bible doesnt say gay = bad, or less than ideal it says gay = death do you agree with that?
if i was god id be very disappointed, this is why he gave us free will no? the virtues of jesus have been perverted for 2000 years, if anything, i think one has to ask questions and get away from what passes as acceptable as a christian these days the teachings of jesus are simple, but everyone seems to have this need to justify their own misgivings through him, and it is pathetic
