Oh I'm not worried about visits.

I'm just still confounded on why the Ducks haven't given the 9th rated DT in the nation an offer, when he has us in his top 2. We can't let him go down to the friggin U to be wasted, or be stolen by Saban

He didn't have to decommit to visit ND. He did have to decommit to visit Oregon.

    I like our chances.

I just want people to stop talking about Vanderdoes because that ship has sailed, I just hope Monte stays DC the years he is there so we can still truck USC.

could be for a lot of reasons. Maybe Oregon doesn't rate him as highly? Maybe their due diligence turned up unfavorable things about his character? Grades? Maybe they have offered him and though he's planning an OV, he isn't relaying his plans to the recruiting services... it's not like schools tell the rivals/scouts of the world who's got an offer.

questioning the intelligence of Oregon's coaching staff seems a bit silly as they've been pretty much proven awesome at all phases of their gig and things are obviously rolling. I'm just enjoying watching things unfold

Oregon fans were on their feet the whole game, myself included and it was clear and almost eerie how quiet 80 grand of USC fans were through out a good chunk of that game, even when they were almost snapping at our heels! Then those condoms bolted for the exits beginning of the 4th, Duck fans stayed till the team walked off the field! There may have been only been 5 to 10 grand of us but they knew we were there!!!

I thought Vanderdoes was going to follow Armstead.

We all thought that. Turns out he doesn't want to be a Nose Tackle then because if he came to Oregon he may have had to step in for that role.

If he was a 3* and the only National power recruiting was Oregon, it'd be obvious who to pick.

Ah come on, what does Cal have that Oregon doesn't? Sure they put Mike Kendricks in the 2nd round but still

Rumor seems to be Daniel Etuale, that stud 0 star DT is getting poached hard by UCLA.
Reminds me of last year, have a low ranked player we have heavy interest in, suddenly other teams jump in quick.

If we lose Etuale, really not sure who we would go for next at that spot.

Right when USC has Redfield leave, Robby decommits...

    Coincidence?

Very doubtful. Any school would make room for RN

Yeah, but it's every player's dream to play for the Trojans. All that tradition and in Southern Cal and the education? Rob would be an idiot not to commit

Completely untrue. DeAnthony Thomas anyone? Not to mention, it's in the middle of the ghetto. For some of us who are from LA (myself included) heading to Oregon is a chance to get away from a pretty rough area.

Combine that with the fact that USC is a VERY poorly coached team, and Oregon is a lot more attractive to many. I don't think USC is going to be able to hold this class together. If USC loses one more (maybe this week v Az St.?) the bandwagon is going to start to empty out!

As for RN, we have a better shot than USC. Get ready folks. We have arrived. A natty will seal it....

Ol Miss (where his brother plays & he's visited multiple times) is thought to have the best shot at landing RN. Certainly Oregon's chances would only increase if he were to take an OV

We aren't getting Nkemdiche, his momma is pushing him to Bama or Old Miss, that said, Redfield seems more our speed! As for USC, I think what the Oregon game proved and what I was hoping it would prove, is that you can have all the talent in the world but if your coach is a mental cupcake you'll lose! Barkley, Lee, Woods, Redd, Agholor, come on..... that's a future NFL who's who list.... Still they lack leadership and a solid football plan and that's something Oregon can provide!!

USC recruits know USC can't beat Stanford or Oregon so what would you do?

Because he would rather play for the biased SEC, or he could just give his mom the finger and go back to Clemson or commit to Oregon.

Or just for the USC fan to get hyped to hell, commit there.

Actually, I'd rather RN go to SCAR, him and Clowney together? Talk about a Deadly Duo
