Well, I hate to say this but I think Lillard will hit that rookie wall faster than Davis will specaily sense there is limited help on Portland's bench.
Its ADs to lose because the media made it his to lose. I still think lillard wins if he can start getting a ton of assists. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
Monster! He's like what everyone dreamed Greg Oden would be. The Hornets are smart for not giving him MF surgery his first year in the NBA. Happy for Monte, and for myself for having Davis on my S2 fantasy team. Lillard has some stiff competition indeed.
Lillard: a few ups and downs are probably good for his development. AD: seems like a good kid, if he does well, good for him (though I wish we'd sway LMA for him) ROY: if we make playoffs DL will win ROY. It's not up to AD, it's up to Batum. Waiters: He hit 7 3 pointers in his last game - most of the time with a hand up. He's not a smart player. He won't win ROY NBA.com: The rookie ladder is updated on Tuesday's I believe: Last Tuesday: DL, Waiters, AD.
If Lillard avgs 18/9 he would win over Davis avg 20/10. Thats mostly associated with the fact that accruing a lot of assists consistently is hard. Problem I see is I don't think Lillard can average 9 assists a game while I can see Davis averaging 20/10.
It's way too early in the season to worry about this shit. Injuries happen, players hit the wall, and defenses learn to adjust to strengths and weaknesses.
