Some of us suggested we trade for OJ Mayo when he was with Memphis. We signed Kirk for $4M, and Mayo signed with Dallas for $4M.

It's been just 3 games, but Mayo has a 19 PER as a starter again, scoring 18 PPG with 3 RPG and 3 APG. He's also shooting .632 from 3pt, but we know that's not going to last.

His PER dropped to 18.8 because other teams played since I posted.

My mistake, he's averaging 3.7 RPG

Between him and Collision, their back court is shooting 13-25 FGs per game, 5.3-8 3PT per game, 6.7 RPG, 10 APG, and 2 SPG. 35.3 PPG.

Mayo's only playing 31 MPG, since they have to get Vince Carter some minutes :)

    Nope.

Mayo's being paid $4,020,000 this season, and he has a player option for $4,200,900 next.

An update after 7 games, or almost 1/10th of the seson.

    He's scoring ~22 PPG on .490 FG% and a ridiculous .609 3pt%. He's still averaging 3.7 RPG and 3.0 APG.

His PER has gone up to 21.3.
