UCLA didn't have Shabazz Muhammad in uniform. A couple of other freshmen stepped up to fill the star recruit's place in the Bruins' season opener. Jordan Adams scored 21 points in his college debut, fellow newcomer Kyle Anderson had 10 points and 10 rebounds, and the 13th-ranked Bruins defeated Indiana State 86-59 on Friday night shortly after finding out Muhammad was ruled ineligible by the NCAA.
