When Kyle Korver was missing shots and the Hawks were struggling, coach Larry Drew grabbed Korver near the bench and told the 3-point specialist to keep shooting.

Korver nodded, said he would and then kept his word when the game was on the line.

Korver scored eight straight points, including back-to-back 3-pointers, in a late 18-0 run and the Hawks, who trailed by 14 points early in the fourth quarter, beat the Indiana Pacers 89-86 on Wednesday night.

I still think the Bulls were foolish to get rid of this guy. He was such a clutch scorer when Deng missed most of the games last season. The golden rule is to always keep a good shooter. The Bulls had Steve Kerr when Jordan was around and now the Heat have Ray Allen.

The Bulls don't consider talent, just the paychecks they need to pay. Korver was too rich for their blood, in spite of the things you say about him being true. Why pay Korver $5M when you can get "almost" the same production from Marco Bellinelli for under $2M?

I just watched some Youtube videos of Marco Bellinelli (I rarely saw him play) and I wish the Hawks had him now. He has nice handles and deep range.

Money wise it makes sense but when you consider team chemistry and work ethic it just made sense to keep the core together. Korver fed off of Rose's passes so good too.

Korver might shoot > .500 from 3pt for the season. Belinelli might shoot > .400.
