Rutgers not only survived a valiant effort by mistake-prone Army, the Scarlet Knights (No. 23 BCS, No. 24 AP) got some outside help and now find themselves alone atop the Big East.

Brandon Coleman ignited a 21-point burst in the final 8:48, scoring his second touchdown of the game on a 31-yard pass from Gary Nova, and Rutgers defeated Army 28-7 on Saturday.
